In 3 days it's school holidays for 2 weeks. What I liked this term was Winter sports because I did hockey and I scored 2 goals. We got tied with the other team. Someone got hurt on the ankle. She had to go to the doctors. Then we kept playing the game. Also I was captain. It was so fun being the captain.
My favourite activity was Art because we got to do it for Matariki. It was so fun and exciting to do. Did you do Art at your school? We have done 4 pieces of Art. They looked really cool and colourful.
What is special for this week is Matariki because..... It is on Friday at 2:00pm. That's when our parents come to get us so we can go home to the disco.

ReplyDeleteGreat to hear that you scored some goals in hockey at the end of last term. Its actually harder than people think to pass a ball in hockey so well done on doing this with others.
Talking about Matariki now, I'm glad that you have been learning about this as it is a very useful thing to learn about with a Matariki public holiday coming up next year. Yes we did art at our last school. Once of the things that we did some times was magazine art where we would make up a picture of some thing from every day life using scraps of small magazine pictures. It takes a long tme to do but once it is finished it turns out really well.
My question for you is, what kind of art would you like to learn about next in Te Mahuri ?
